Senior Luncheon-Our next senior luncheon will take place on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016. Join us in the parish hall for lunch at noon.  Lunch will be followed by a program presented by the Suffolk County Police Department on "senior scams".
Come and learn how to pro
tect yourselves from unscrupulous people and ploys.  Voluntary contributions may be made at the luncheon to Mary Mattarella's PBJ ministry. Donations of money or soap, reusable bags, peanut butter and jelly, small packs of laundry soap and men's boxer shorts would all be appreciated.

Can you help? To be sure that the new plantings around the church get well established, we need to deeply water them 3 times a week until frost. If you are able to help out once a week or even now and then, please call Pat @ (631) 567-2203 or email at posarchuk@hotmail.com. Thanks!

St. Barnabas Buddies:
Drivers desperately needed!
Please call Gerry Hoek at
 (631) 868-7278 if you are able to donate your time to drive fellow parishioners to medical appointments.

Christmas Fair Saturday - November 5, 2016
Preparations are underway for our Christmas fair which will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016. Please consider donating a new item or items to either the basket auction or the raffle. Think about asking family, friends and any businesses you frequent to donate as well. Gift cards and cash donations are always welcome. It's not too early, we have already started to receive donations! Donations can be dropped off on Sundays during services 8:00am - 11:00am. Make sure your name and basket contents are listed with each donation. Please contact Nancy Koinoglou at 631-567-4322 (basket auction) or Jackie Gandolfo 631-472-1436 (raffle) if you have any questions. Thank you.

Food Pantry: By now you have probably seen the red wagon with a WE NEED FOOD sign. We are feeding 14 families, approximately 40 people per week. That is a lot of food and we are finding it difficult to keep up with the demand. Please consider bringing an item or two to church each week. This would make a huge impact on helping those who come to us in need. Many thanks to all who faithfully support the food pantry's mission.

New Members:  If you are new to St. Ann's, we want to make sure you are getting our communications. Please fill out the newcomers card in your pew and place it in the collection plate and we will add you to our database for future communications.

Blood Drive: FYI halfway to our 3rd annual Blood Drive. Mark your calendars for January 18th, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Together we can save many lives!!

We are in need of volunteers to help with the Historical Society. If we are going to maintain the history room and the history of the church, we need your help. If you can volunteer any time, please call Connie Currie or leave a message at the office. Thank you.
